I feel how she looks.
The bag I made that got whisked away before I took photo's.......I got a call from the whiskr, and her friends want one too. Unfortunately I didn't use a pattern, just cut fabric as I went along. Do I really want to make more bags even if they pay me for materials???? I like to sew and knit for pleasure. The money thing just makes it work. I used to sew fancy drapes in a former life before graduate school. It was too busy and now I hate to make my own draperies. The whiskr told the friends no unless they paid. I think I'll leave it at that.

I don't blame you. People don't always realize how expensive it is to do crafts, so to give away your stuff to friends of friends could get to be too much.

I SO know how you feel. There is nothing I love more than wearing a sweater that I spent $150 bucks on yarn for and spent 3 months of my life making and having someone who doesn't craft ask me to make one for....$25~! I don't like deadlines either so I only craft for gifts and for me!
