Just went to the Firefighters Academy Graduation, wow, so impressive. Oldest DS graduated...mom is so proud. That's adding to his long list of schooling: College, Paramedic, and now Firefighter. It was a happy place with so many families celebrating. I just love the sounds of children (even crying) at these things. They remind everyone what's most important.

Here's Tulips, all balled up and nowhere to go. Yet.

Just turn your head a little to the left to see the
Lion bare sock yarn.

These are the socks I'm knitting with LSD. The pattern repeat came from IK Summer 05 Padded Footlets. No padding and my own sizing. One of the afterthought heels in Twisted Sisters. These are going to a friend. I do love the toe ups, and especially the afterthought heels. So pleasant to knit, just keep going and going around till the end. This friend has the same size foot as I do, how convienent.
