I have been looking and drooling over this room since I was a young girl. It's in my very old Simplicity Sewing Book. My mother saw the crafy gene in me (not from her, from my paternal yiayia) and made me a corner in a storage room when I first started sewing. I can remember being so excited. My fancy room could wait. I didn't think it would take 40 years...the joys of children. Anywho, it contained a desk, chair and my sewing machine. In fact, it's the same desk my machine is on now. Ahh, memories, if only Lilly could see it now.

Here are the photos of my sewing/knitting/stashing/reading/napping/DVRTVing/girlyroom My old desk is the one with the pink top in the last pic. It'a about 10x13 with 3 doors and 1 window. It's perfect! All of my knitting fits, yarn, books, tools. Most of my fabric has settled into it's new home. As I look at these pictures, I realize that I have redecorated...nothing new, just better Karma

40 years in the making.

I love this.

One of my dreams is a room that hubby and I can each have a corner to make it ours. A chair, a side table, a lamp of our choosing. And what I know is that they will both match even if they are totally different because we go together. :)
