The rugrats this year are cute and little and NOT last year's crew. That is really the best part of them. I didn't know the extent of how bad it was for me last year, until the first day of school this year. I had many hints...the stress, the anxiety, the complete exhaustion, the high blood pressure, the not sleeping. Oh how lucky I am to have the same job, but have it change so completely every year.
I've spent the past few days making chair back covers for my classroom. This way they can't use the inside of their desks. I has worked for the past few years. I needed to replace so many this summer due to last year's class being so destructive.
