I went back to school today to begin the task of getting ready. For 2 months I have done virtually nothing but fun, so, after 2 hours in school I felt like I was run over. All I did was move desks, chairs, books, tables, and computers. I'm going to P.T. tomorrow for my last visit and hope I haven't done any damage to my back. I'd hate to backpedel after going twice a week all summer.
So for tonight I will sit with ice, watch TV, and have needles in my hands.

Well, enjoy your downtime knitting tonight!
I made it through my first week with the kids(middle schoolers) back and man all I want is a weekend full of sitting and watching movies and knitting but NOT YET. I have to move from the apt I've lived in for two year into a house. :) I'm so excited but I'm already exhausted. :) I'm off to knit for a couple minutes before I go to bed. We had open house tonight. Good luck with getting back to school and your back.
enjoy you sitting time.
hope you don't backpedal that would be awful
my view is a lake, and you are right in the winter it is beautiful, a fresh snow on the tree branches is so nice.
those people that live south, they don't know what they are missing. LOL!
I hope your back is ok! And wishing you no tornados during the first week of school! ;)
Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I really appreciate it. I wanted to email you, but can't seem to locate an address for you, so I'm leaving my message as a comment. You wanted to know about cabling without a cable needle. Yes, I did the whole sweater back without any kind of cable needle. It's a technique I've just learned and I absolutely love it. You can find a tutorial here: http://www.grumperina.com/cables.htm
There is a brand new book that's come out titled "Cable Needle Freedom" that is about this too. I've ordered it from Knitpicks. Should be here in a day or two. Will post a review on the blog after I've looked at it.
Take care,
Linda Jo aka The BeadKnitter
Have a great first week back at school! I remember all the work it is to get ready!
Good luck!
