Spinning Day2
Guess what? The yarn does not wind itself on the long skinny thing. I have no pictures of that adventure because there was nothing to see, but me being ugh.
I did read the booklet it came with, but somehow I still didn't get it. I found a video on YouTube and voila!! Duh!
This roving came with the spindle and it was long and thin. The YouTube gal had a poof of fiber behing her. That will be me someday.
This little bit took quite awhile to gather. I kept dropping the spindle and having to redo and rewind. I think it looks pretty good.
Now what? I'll have to find another YouTube video.
This is hand dyed and by the looks of it, hand spun too. I'm making a scarf. Garter stitch ends and stockinette in the middle.

Whew......It's been awhile since I visited your blog I see! Sure hope your husband is doing ok. I really don't know anything about Sepsis, except for the fact that you really don't want it! How's he doing? Home with IV antibiotics sounds stressful to me. (I am a wimp I suppose.) I will have him (and you!) in my thoughts!

I have a drop spindle too - and have never done anything with it. I really want a spinning wheel, but figured I should start small. Never got into it, but ..... someday! So, you can be my inspiration.

How's the Moose mittens coming? It really is an adorable design, I think.

Take care! You have lots going on, so find time to relax!
