My doctor was very pleased with my progress today. My 3 month average blood glucose or A1c was 8.5!!!! Down from 13.8. I feel like I'm not such a loser anymore. That may be a bit harsh, but I have been beating myself up lately about my levels. We still have a ways to go. Metformin was doubled and a Vitamin D added.
Dr. Clay: Keep trying to exercise...everyday, make an appointment with yourself.
Me: OK, I'll keep trying.
Dr. Clay: You don't have to run, just walk on the treadmill while watching TV or music.
Me: I won't be running unless someone is chasing me.
Dr. Clay: See you in 3 months...good job!

Wow, that's a huge drop in just three months!! Good for you - you're doing an awesome job. Exercise is always the hardest part for me, I don't like it and I can never find the motivation. If only knitting counted as exercise, right??

OH....sounds like its such hard work!!! But so worth it -- YOU are worth it. That's what I kept telling my husband when he had his heart attack, and our life made a U turn that day! Certainly sounds like you are moving in the right direction....congratulations!!!! Give yourself a HUGE pat on the back and stand proud!
